Raleigh/Durham Based Wedding Photographer

capturing moments you'll cherish for a lifetime

Your wedding day is filled with fleeting, unforgettable moments—the kind you'll look back on forever. My approach to wedding photography is true-to-life, so you can relive the memories that matter most for years to come. Through natural wedding photography and documentary-style storytelling, I capture the candid moments that make your celebration uniquely yours.

Documentary Wedding Photography for Your Most Breathtaking "I Do". Every detail deserves to be captured with care and artistry.

This is your story

The best photos happen when you're not worried about being photographed. As a Raleigh based wedding photographer, I've learned that the couples who love their images most aren't the ones who are naturally comfortable in front of a camera—they're the ones who felt so at ease they forgot the camera was even there. That's what I do: I document your wedding in a way that feels natural, honest, and true to you, without pulling you out of the moment or overwhelming you with direction. You've poured so much heart into planning your day, and you deserve to be fully present for it—embracing your partner, soaking in the magic, and celebrating without the stress of feeling overposed or self-conscious. Specializing in natural wedding photography and candid moments, I create a pressure-free environment where camera-shy couples can simply be themselves and trust that nothing important will be missed.

dedicated support

Natural wedding photography thrives on authentic connection. The most powerful images come from genuine emotion, and that only happens when you feel comfortable. I take time to truly get to know you before your wedding day so that when the moment arrives, everything feels effortless and natural.

authentic connection

Wedding days don't always follow the script (sometimes that means a surprise rain shower!), but I thrive in those moments. My goal is to adapt seamlessly, finding the beauty in the unexpected and turning every scene into something artistic and meaningful. The most powerful images come from genuine emotion, which is why my documentary wedding photography approach focuses on capturing authentic, candid moments rather than forced poses—especially important for camera-shy couples.

wholehearted trust

Trust creates space for vulnerability, and within that vulnerability lies the magic, the kind of beauty and artistry that transforms into photographs and films you'll treasure for a lifetime.

Past Groom & Bride

Brennan has been absolutely amazing from day one. I met her when I was a bridesmaid for a friend's wedding and loved her energy! Brennan was in contact with me regularly throughout our engagement to give tips, advice, little things to remember, etc. She truly went above and beyond for us and we're so grateful. I was extremely nervous to have photos taken in the beginning. However, Brennan has this incredible way about her that eases that anxiety. She gives great direction during the shoot so you never feel awkward. The photos turned out so natural and beautiful every time. She has a true gift.

Brennan is the ultimate hype-woman and is sure to make any wedding day so much MORE. More fun, more exciting, more relaxing, more enjoyable - whatever vibe you're going for, she's there to support you 100% because she knows that a happy couple is going to be more comfortable in front of her camera. And yes, her photos are amazing!

Past Bride & Groom

When I first started looking for a photographer, I was immediately drawn to how relaxed the couples looked in Brennan's photos — candid, intimate moments that didn't feel overly posed. After a phone call where Brennan took the time to get to know us as a couple, I knew I'd found the right person. On our wedding day, she had every logistical detail worked out down to the minute, which took so much stress off my plate and helped me feel completely comfortable and confident. My favorite part now? Watching everyone's reactions when I show them the photos — they are absolutely stunning.

Photography That Lets You Actually Enjoy Your Wedding Day

Whether you're planning an intimate celebration at The Greenhouse at Arrows Farm or a grand affair at The Maxwell, I'm here to document your day in a way that feels natural and true to you. My approach doesn't crowd you, take away from your in-the-moment experience, or make you feel awkward in front of the lens.

You've put so much thought into your wedding day, and I believe the best photos happen when you're fully present—embracing your partner, laughing with your family, and experiencing the magic unfolding around you.

Why Couples Choose a Raleigh Wedding Photographer Who Specializes in Documentary Style

I don't just photograph couples—I capture how their love has affected their loved ones around them.

Working as a Triangle area wedding photographer, I've had the privilege of documenting love stories at some of the region's most beloved venues—from The Distillery in Garner to The Bradford in New Hill, from the elegant Seven Paths Manor to intimate backyard celebrations across Cary, Greensboro and Chapel Hill.

What sets my approach apart that I don't just photograph the couple. I treat your wedding guests as extensions of your love story, giving the same warmth and attention to your grandmother's proud smile, your best friend's toast, and your niece's flower girl twirl. Because your wedding day is about community—all the people who've shaped your journey coming together to celebrate you.

This approach especially resonates with couples planning culturally rich celebrations where family and tradition are central to the day. I understand that your wedding might include multiple ceremonies, special cultural traditions(Arch of Sabers), or meaningful moments that require a photographer who can move seamlessly between formal portraits and spontaneous, documentary-style storytelling.

If you've ever described yourself as "awkward in photos," you're exactly who I love working with. My gentle direction and no-pressure approach helps camera-shy couples relax and be themselves, resulting in images that feel authentic rather than staged.

As a Cary, Durham, and Raleigh wedding photographer, I've witnessed hundreds of love stories unfold across the Triangle area

I believe weddings are one of the most important days of your life—one of the only times you'll be surrounded by everyone who's been an integral part of your story.

This is why documentary-style wedding photography matters. These images don't just show what happened; they transport you back to exactly how it felt.

I bring genuine curiosity about people and their stories to every wedding.

Whether you're planning a traditional catholic church ceremony, a multicultural celebration blending two heritages, or an intimate elopement-style gathering, I'm here to understand what makes your relationship special and capture it authentically.

I'm a good mix of go-with-the-flow meets attention to detail. I adapt easily to different cultural traditions, jump in when needed, and ensure your priorities become my priorities—all while encouraging you to stay present and enjoy every moment of your day.

FAQ

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

Most couples book 9 to 18 months before their wedding date, especially for peak spring and fall weekends. The earlier you reach out, the better your chances of securing your date. I only take a limited number of weddings each year to ensure every couple receives a truly personalized experience.

Do you photograph with both film and digital?

Yes. I photograph using a blend of digital and film to create timeless, true-to-color images. Film brings a soft, nostalgic quality that perfectly complements the crisp detail of digital. Together, they tell the full story of your day with both elegance and authenticity.

Will you help us with the wedding day timeline?

Absolutely. I work closely with you and your planner to build a photo timeline that feels natural and stress-free. My goal is to make sure you’re fully present while we capture everything beautifully and effortlessly.

Are engagement sessions included?

Absolutely! Every wedding package includes a complimentary engagement session for couples local to the Raleigh-Durham Triangle. Think of it as our "practice round"—a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera, see how I work, and create some gorgeous photos you can use however you'd like.

If I'm traveling outside Triangle area for your wedding, I still encourage an engagement session! There will be a travel fee depending on location, but many couples find it's worth it to build that comfort and connection before the wedding day.
